SAFE FUN STARTS WITH YOU
Know your responsibility
on the snow.
Snow sports are exciting, memorable and enjoyed by millions of Australians. They also take place in a dynamic alpine environment where our decisions matter.
Every guest has a personal responsibility for their own safety - and for the safety of the people around them. Knowing the Code means understanding how to behave, make good decisions and share the mountain responsibly.
UPDATED FOR 2026
YOUR ALPINE
RESPONSIBILITY CODE
The Alpine Responsibility Code has been refreshed to make it clearer, more memorable and easier for guests to understand and apply.
The ten responsibilities are now grouped under three simple themes - the three things you need to know to fully understand your obligations on the hill.
THE THREE KNOWS
KNOW YOUR ABILITY.
KNOW YOUR ROLE.
KNOW YOUR ZONE.

NEW FOR WINTER 2026
YOUR TOBOGGAN
RESPONSIBILITY CODE
Tobogganing is now how many guests are first introduced to snowsports, and snowplay has increased in popularity in recent years.
The new Toboggan Responsibility Code creates a consistent responsibility code for tobogganing. Designed with a similar look and feel to the Alpine Responsibility Code, it helps familiarise guests with their responsibilities on the snow - particularly if they later transition from snowplay to skiing or boarding.
